We prioritise our clients' wellbeing, and in doing so we have regular contact with other professionals and services. Here are some of the organisations with whom we have strong working relationships.
Louise Perkins, accredited practising dietitian, offers individually tailored nutritional advice to clients and their families. Louise has a special interest in nutrition for children and adolescents, food intolerance and allergy, and disordered eating. Beaches Nutrition welcomes clients of all ages.
South Pacific Private is a treatment centre specialising in the integrated medical, psychiatric and therapeutic treatment of addictions and mood disorders. For over 25 years their inpatient programs, day programs and recovery house have been conducted from their facility on Sydney's Northern Beaches in Curl Curl.
The Family Referral Service can provide support to you and your family by linking you with local services. These services can help with domestic violence, migration and settlement, financial assistance, counselling and mediation, child and parenting programs, youth support, housing and accommodation.
Northern Beaches Psychiatry takes a holistic approach to treatment and aims to create a calm and friendly atmosphere in which to receive psychiatric care. They provide support for children, adolescents and young adults. Dr Katie Frankish and Dr Ryan Lee are psychiatrists who have advanced training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

BRP Consultants Pty Ltd ATF Berry & Reynolds Psychology TRADING AS Berry Collective Psychology ACN: 602 250 402 (Berry Collective, we, us or our) respects your right to privacy and is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our patients, visitors, nominated support persons, referring doctors, contracted health professionals, trainees, employees, contractors, suppliers, service providers and website visitors. We adhere to the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act). This Privacy Policy (Policy) sets out how we collect and manage your personal information, including but not limited to your health information.
1.2. In this Policy,
1.2.1.“personal information" has the same definition under the Privacy Act. It means “information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable: (a) whether the information or opinion is true or not; and (b) whether the information or opinion is recorded in a material form or not”.

1.2.3.“primary purpose” has the same definition under the Privacy Act. It means the specific function or activity or a particular purpose for which the information is collected.
1.2.4.“secondary purpose” has the same definition under the Privacy Act. Any use or disclosure of personal information for purposes other than the primary purpose is secondary purpose.
2. Kinds of personal information we collect and hold
2.1. We may, from time to time, collect and store personal information you enter onto our website, provided to us directly or given to us in other forms. We will also collect personal information to provide you with the services that you have requested. This includes assessment for or information in relation to the provision of services.
2.2. We may collect information such as your name, date of birth, gender, telephone number, mobile number, address, email address, healthcare identifiers, Medicare number, health insurance membership number, details of next of kin, medical history, clinical notes, test results, treatment plan, prescribed medications, referral details, disease status, clinical reports, diagnostic assessment reports, family history, ethnic background, current lifestyle or other documents or information at your discretion to supply, to enable us to create your account, send information, provide updates, respond to your enquiries or requests for appointments, and provide services. We may collect additional information at other times, including but not limited to bank account, credit card information, or other information linking you to a physical address for billings and collection purposes, to provide you with information about our services, to enable an individual to discharge their duties as a director, officer or executive manager of us under Australian law, or for the ordinary operation of our business.
2.3. We may also collect your Usage Data, including information such as your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, browser version, browsing history, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data, as well as any other information you provide while interacting with us.
3. How we collect your personal information
3.1. We collect personal information from you in a variety of ways, including when you interact with us electronically or in person, when you access our website and when we provide our services to you.
3.2. We may receive personal information from you directly or from third parties such as independent healthcare providers, government agencies, e.g. the Department of Veterans Affairs or Medicare, contractors or service providers, or someone with responsibility for you, e.g. your guardian. If we need to collect information from a third party, we will only do so with your consent or where it is not reasonable or practical for us to collect the information from you directly, such as when your health is at risk and we need the information to provide you with emergency health treatment. If we do, we will protect the personal information as set out in this Policy.

4.1. We may use personal information collected from you for the primary purposes for which you have given the information to us. Depending on the circumstances, this may include but is not limited to providing you with our services, information, updates, and managing your account with us.
4.2. We may also use your personal information for secondary purposes that are related to the primary purpose for which the information was given; for other purposes with your consent, to contact you by a variety of measures including, but not limited to, telephone, SMS, or email, manage your requests, and improve our products and services and better understand your needs, to prevent or lessen a serious and/or imminent threat to someone's life or to the public, health, safety, for our compliance with any Australian law, etc. We may also make you aware of new and additional information about our services, fees, and opportunities available to you (Informational Updates). 5.1. Personal information is only supplied to a third party with your consent or where it is not reasonable or practical for us to do so to provide you with services, such as when your health is at risk, and we need the information to provide you with emergency medical treatment.

We will take reasonable steps to ensure that the data recipients do not breach the Privacy Act 1988 and other State and Territory privacy legislation that may be applicable. By providing us with personal information, you acknowledge and consent to the disclosure or transfer of the information by us to entities outside of Australia and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not required to ensure the recipient’s compliance with Australian privacy law.
5.5. If there is a change of control in our business or a sale or transfer of business assets, we reserve the right to transfer, to the extent permissible at law, our user databases, together with any personal information and non-personal information contained in those databases. This information may be disclosed to a potential purchaser under an agreement to maintain confidentiality. We would seek to only disclose information in good faith and where required by any of the above circumstances.
