We understand that ADHD can affect people differently.

Here are some common reasons why adults may seek an assessment for ADHD:

  • Struggling with completing tasks and focusing

  • Feeling disorganised and frustrated about this

  • Ongoing procrastination

  • Difficulty with multitasking and prioritizing

  • Forgetfulness and difficulty remembering conversations

  • Challenges with punctuality and time management

If any of these issues sound familiar, an ADHD Assessment for Adults may be a helpful next step in understanding yourself and receiving support.

Our Approach

At Berry Collective Psychology, we offer ADHD Assessments for Adults conducted by our experienced psychologists. Our assessments evaluate attentional difficulties, associated personality traits and emotional factors, and provide insight into strengths and weaknesses. Our assessment reports can facilitate medication trials with a psychiatrist if a diagnosis of ADHD is received.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

Our ADHD assessment process involves three main steps.

01.

Questionnaires and Psychometric Tests:

We will provide you with four questionnaires and psychometric tests that you can complete in your own time. These tests will help us evaluate your attentional difficulties, related personality traits, and emotional factors. They provide valuable information to assist us in making an accurate diagnosis.

02.

Clinical Interview:

After completing the questionnaires and tests, you will attend a two-hour clinical interview with one of our experienced psychologists. During this interview, we will explore your personal and medical history and gain insight into your current challenges and strengths. This will help us to gain a comprehensive understanding of your unique situation.

03.

Feedback Session and Report:

After completing questionnaires and a clinical interview, your psychologist will analyse your results and create a written report. During a Feedback Session, your psychologist will discuss the test results, provide a conclusion on diagnosis, and recommend treatment and management options. If you do receive a diagnosis of ADHD, and if are considering medication, you can take the report to a psychiatrist for further recommendations. Berry Collective Psychology is dedicated to supporting you throughout your mental health journey and providing ongoing care as necessary. Request an appointment.
